I have a Rheem gas furnace. Ignites, Gas shuts off when Heating element dies down..?
Thought it was the flame sensor. Replaced that. Thought it was the control box, replaced that. Still it lights, then shuts off when the element dies down. Don't really have the money for the repair man. Last one cost me a fortune. I have the almost exact furnace in an apartment in my house so I was using those parts to test. Its all hooked up correctly as far as I can tell. Hopefully someone can help...model rgda10ecerElectronic ignition, has a Honeywell control box which I tested on another furnace No thermocouple? Not a standing pilot
Rheem Gas Furnace Problem?
I have a Rheem Corsaire gas furnace that is giving me problems. It continues to cut off and leave me in the cold. Indicator light blinks twice leading me to believe it is a pressure switch issue. I have checked the tubing and it is clear. When I button everything back up and turn the unit back on, the heating element glows orange and just before the gas starts to flow I get a weird " sucking" vaccumn type sound 2 or 3 times and it trips the swtich again. If I leave the top access door off where the PS and burners are located everything works just fine.I have noticed in times past that excessive winds will trip the PS but in this case the winds are not a problem. Any suggestions?
Can someone tell me how to replace a thermocouple from a push-in burner of a Rheem gas furnace?
I don't see any clue that the old thermocouple can be replaced. I know that the thermocouple is not welded.
How do I light the pilot light on an older Rheem gas furnace Model RGCC-095C?
I have the serial number of the furnace. I cannot find an instruction book and it looks like there is an igniter box added.

Rheem gas furnace blower will not shut offAfter it is done heating, the blower continues.I have set the thermostat to auto.The batteries in the thermostat are fresh.I shut the switch off on the furnance over night and turned it back on the next morning, with the blower motor not running. so then i go and turn the thermostat up and get heating blowing up to temp and turn the thermostat off. the blower motor then shut off a few moments later. after the blower motor shut off i waited 5 minutes and turned the thermostat back up. after a few minutes of heat i shut the thermostat off and the blower motor continued to blow until i flipped the switch on the furnace, i left for work and arrived back at the house turn the furnace switch on without the blower motor turning on and had a repeat of the previous night.I can shut the furnace off with the switch on the furnace. But that is notA good solution,What part is broken on the furnace? relay? thanks
