I have a carrier furnace and it doesn't work?
I have replaced the main ciruit board,the iginitor and the inducer motor relay... Still nothing... HOw can I find out what is wrong?it doesn't start just does nothing...no clicks and there aren't any lights on it... It's over 20 years old..Loft I tried everyone one of those ...my blower will start when I connect the G and R ,but nothing else happens...and I thought the pressure switch was started by the inducer fan?It has only one transformer on it..
My commercial carrier furnace has an indicator light. the light flashes 3 rapid & 3 slow. need a diagnosis.?
when furnace flashes 3 times fast then 3 slow flashes my thermostat shuts off and has no reading on it at all. then it will restart by it self for a little while and start all over again.thanks for the help

Smell coming from carrier furnace?
12 year old carrier that we replaced the board on. Since then when it firsts starts to blow air into the house it smells hot, just in the room the furnace is closest too. It goes away and no more smell until the next cycle. Is the blower not coming on soon enough and the exchanger getting too hot?
Rust inside home carrier furnace?
I was cleaning the filter inside the unit, to realize there was not a filter. I did notice the great amount of rust where the blower motor cabinent is and further looked around unit. Inside where burners are the area is black and looks rusted as well, also the area outside around the holes where burners enter is all rusted too and has a small crack. Does this show it is a bad heater? i live in a rental home. it is a carrier unit from 1983.

Hi i have a carrier furnace and stopped working.?
the fan comes on and there is air coming out if set it to on but its coming out cold. i checked the thermostat its digital it reading 62 but i set it to 70 and will not get hot at all even in automatic it doesn't power on. i think is the thermostat or the pilot but this model i guess you can't manually turn on the pilot its automatic or so any help would be great.
