I just purchased a house and would like to put in a wood furnace. The chimney is already being used to vent a high efficiency propane 135000 btu furnace. I was wondering if its possible to vent the propane furnace out the side of the house, into just some kind of exterior vent.

Why do burners on high efficiency furnace shut off for about thirty second during heating cycle?
I have a high efficiency condensing furnace in my home. It heats really well except on really cold days. While running, the burners will suddenly kick off for about thirty seconds and then kick back on. It usually only does this once during a heating cycle. I installed a new thermostat about six months ago and it seems fine. What other reason would cause burners to shut off for short period. The blower runs good and at end of heating cycle shuts off after two minutes. This is normal.

How to vent a high efficiency furnace?
I had a new high effeciency 95 % installed and want to make sure it's vented OK. The vent goes out the back of the house and extends about 6 feet beyond the wall and ends under the middle of ther deck. The pipe is pretty much level.Should the pipe slope down going out or up? Meaning should the moisture drain outside or back to the furnace? Is there any problem with the vent under the deck? At least there won't be any snow build up around the vent.
My high efficiency furnace intake pipe (2" abs) is clogging with frost. I have disconnected it at the furnace
Is this ok as a temporary measure and how can I stop the frost from forming in the pipe.The exhaust pipe is located between houses as is the intake. Problem is the neighbours exhasu is there as well as his dryer vent and my hot water heater direct vent exhaust.If they are all going at once could be trouble however the neighbors intake does not get clogged...

its like the gas is shut off to the burners, ive turned the switch off twice...the main blower will run for about a minute, and then quit........after the big fan quits, the little one runs foreverokay, there is a rubber end cap at the exhaust fan assembly....i pulled it off....air blew out, igniter kicked on gas kicked on......plugged flue?

My fuel supplier sells furnaces, but the least expensive one is $5999 not including installation . Is that reasonable? If not, what WOULD be a reasonable price to pay for an oil hot water heating system and who would install it if I didn't buy though my oil company?
