About home furnaces. How do I know whats wrong with my heater when it calls for roll-out switches ?
OK so the circuit board has a led light that flashes 7 times, according to the messages on the board it self it means the roll out switch fault.Does that mean that I need to change the roll out switch or is it something major?I would appreciate any info anyone could share on this with me. Thank you. when I turn heater on the flame come on for 30 seconds then blower kicks on it burns for another 30 seconds and then it cuts off that's when the little red light on the board lights seven times.

Furnace/ heat question, can a mobile home furnace heat a home ?
i have a 2 story house , but the rooms are small ,.. theres no duct work , and no old furnace , just a place were an old coal stove was. , at the present i have made due with 2 wood burners and my back cant take another year of splitting that much wood and i cant leave the house for more than 4 hours, and cant sllep through the night. , so id like to invest in a heat source other than baseboard, i did that, i bought 13 of'm and they cannot keep up with the cold, and the electric bill is through the roof, also there is no basement to speek of, theres an old 4x8 room under the house, but theres no foundation " pole building" .how can i heat efficiently and cheaply ? i saw mobile home furnaces for 500$ would one of those work, if i put in a little duct work ? are they too loud to have in the middle of your house?? what other options may i have that i havent thought of? thanks for all your help, im trying not to freeze this year.
Will our Honeywell Commercial VisionPRO TB8220U thermostat work with a gas american standard home furnace?
I can't seem to get the programming working and our contractor said that this particular thermostat would only work with electrical furnaces in a commercial setting and not a residential high efficiency gas furnace...i was told otherwise when i first bought it and was just looking for clarification.Thanks.
How to wire in an electric mobile home furnace?
I am looking to switch from a gas furnace to an electric furnace. I found the furnace I am going to get, but I'm not sure what size wire, and breaker I need for this furnace. I'll post a link to the website selling the furnace for the info about it. It has installation manual link on this page that tells more about it. If anyone can tell me what I need that would be great. Is that right. Oh also My uncle is going to be installing it. He is an electrician. He just told me to get everything I needed and he would stop by and install it.
