Can anyone explain to me how to use a 745 Duo Therm natural gas furnace?
I have been living in a trailer over the Summer and it's a bit old. I believe it's called a Daytona 44 X 12, and it's a bit older. With it being September now the nights are getting colder and I was just curious how you use the furnace. It's natural gas, and I can see that the pilot light is lit. If you remove the cover, there is a blower fan that says Summer, Winter, and Off. When you put it on anything besides off, the fan starts blowing regardless of what the thermostat is set to. I didn't know if the fan is supposed to run constantly, or if there was something I was missing. Can someone help me?

Do newer model natural gas furnaces have a pilot light?
We bought our house brand new about 3 years ago. Gas got turned off to our house in error yesterday. I am out of town and worried about when the gas comes back on. Why is my natural gas furnace not working?
I recently had my natural gas turned back on after being off for about 3 months. Now when I turn on my furnace, it goes through a " purge" mode, but then does not continue on to heating mode. However, the cooling function remains intact. It is a relatively new furnace Philco brand, installed 2006 . Furnace diagnostics indicate " pressure switch open with inducer on." I purchased a new pressure switch and installed it, yet am still getting the same error message. Any ideas?

How much should a natural gas furnace be turned down during the day?
In the morning before leaving for work, we turn down our gas furnace from 70 to 60 degrees. Is there a sweet spot for efficiency that would dictate a better temperature to turn the furnace down to? Is it better to keep the temperature down 10 degrees for 9 or so hours and then have it build back up to 70 or are we turning it down too much or too little?
How do I go about fixing my natural gas furnace that has a delayed ignition problem?

Natural Gas Furnace Issue?
Our furnace is set to 70 and the thermostat reads 55 and yes, it feels extremely cold.No matter how hard we try, we can't get our apartment to get any warmer even though the furnace puts on the show of working, but it doesn't actually warm up our apartment. We've ruled out insulation because our apartment is well insulated and we didn't have this problem until earlier today.About the furnace itself, well, the igniter manages to light a blue flame, however, within a few seconds the chamber goes bluer and bluer and bluer until there's no more yellow light left then it immediately gets put out, then it does that again about three more times then it won't turn on again unless we turn it off then back on. The fan will blow, but the air that comes out is cold.Really need some help insight We live in Utah Burrrrr" call a gas furnace repairman.Common sense." HA yeah, good one smartass except that it's already almost 10 PM here and we don't want to freeze our asses off tonight if we can actually fix it ourselves before tomorrow.Jackass...
