Has anyone tried a portable furnace or a reiker room conditioner?
I know that portable furnace saves gas, but how much electricity does it use on average?
The furnace is 1500 watt, it heats up 800 sq ft. I would keep it at 70 F and the average temperature for the area outside is around 25 to 35

About half of my basement is finished and it currently ties into our regular HVAC ducts, however, it is still very cold down there and likely the cold is coming from the unfinished portion. I would like to add supplement the heat but I am unsure as to which type of heating to select. I would like to save as much money as I can on my heating bill, however, I also want to make sure it stays toasty down there. Any suggestions whether to use baseboard heating, radiator or a portable furnace?Thanks

says it runs off of infared heat, does this work well? says it has a fan, is the fan loud? i gound it at portablefurnace.com ...........if you know anything about these, please let me know thanks
Have you used a portable furnace? If so, which one and was it a good purchase?
I don't mean a portable heater, I mean a portable furnace such as the one from portablefurnace.com. I'm thinking about buying one for my sunroom which is super cold most of the year.Thanks
